Parent Support
Parents get involved in the life of the school in many ways, not only through volunteering in class but also through Parents' Council activities such as fundraising, organising raffles or helping at the Christmas Fayre.
School trip helpers
We hugely value those volunteers who come into class regularly to do a variety of jobs to assist the teachers.
Groups of parents are often required to accompany our children on one-off excursions, such as visits to museums etc. This can often be a half-day or a whole-day commitment.
Anyone who regularly volunteers will be required to have an up-to-date Access NI Check carried out through the school office.
Reading Partnership
The ten week programme involves assigning pupils a ‘Reading Partner’ for a 15 minute support reading session, three times a week. Throughout the programme, the main focus is on developing the pupils’ independent use of reading strategies and skills along with increased enjoyment and motivation to read. Full training will be provided.
If you are able to help in any way, please contact the school office.
