The Arts
At Rowandale, the Arts programme covers a range of learning topics, providing rich opportunity for children to develop creativity, express feelings and interpret their environment through pictures, sound, drama and dance. Planned activities are used to help develop confidence, as well as to work on motor skills, confidence and self-esteem.
Children’s creative, expressive and physical development is closely linked with all aspects of their learning. Children should be given opportunities to explore and share their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of: art and design, music, movement, dance, dramatic and role-play activities.
